Its been a bit since I did a knife. I have too many people that I want to gift these to!
This one is a hunter with a bit of flare. The wood is bright red. This was found at a special little lumber yard in PA.
Here we go again!
OK, this one has proven to be one of the hardest.
It has taken the longest and kicked my butt.
All things considered, I think it turned out well.
So, I tempered before I drilled all the holes.
I set the brass guards and they did not line up
I had to heat treat 2x
The pin holes were too big
I ground into the cutting edge while final sanding
Other than that...
